Getting the going gone...

 Officially opened my shop on Etsy! Yep thats right I'm moving on up ha HollyBellzDesignz is officially started. Ok so I don't have it exactly how I want it, theres only two options... but it's a start right??? My goal this week, which I now realize is half over, is to get Beckys cozy done, Hannahs purse, and a tutu or two for the new little girl :)



 
To help get started with this I stopped off yesterday at Hancock Fabrics and found a few fun things. Some tulle for the skirt, some new fabrics, a necklace chain to try something new and some awesom looking paint I'm excited to use! I'm super excited and hope things take off soon.

My latest fun I made was a matching cozy and mini purse.  More to come!!!

moving...

with this last move, hoping it'll be the last for a little while, I have finally gotten my sewing/office area sort of put together. at least have my computer set up and usable. sewing is still a little work in progress but I've got my table up and getting my fabric & patterns out  :)  can't wait to get back to sewing!!!

getting started again....

It feels like its been forever that not only havent I been keeping with this but sewing in general  :-(     To make up for this I am taking a break from school to get things in order and get back to my much left alone machine. Ive of course kept up with the buying part of things  :-)  just went and got a few more patterns yesterday.
So to get things started I decided to sew a few rice sacks. It was going good... got 2 done and then decided I was going to try and add some tea to give it a little different smell and not thinking pined the end incase i didnt like it...  reminder pins are metal - not good in the microwave!   ha dumb moment of the year, had a small fire in the microwave thankfully taken out with just a blow. No long term damage, other than the charred fabric.
So heres to continuing the adventure and hoping it works  :-)
